A bulk profile upload of the recommended limit of 50 profiles is failing

User Symptoms:

When the CWA user uploads a spreadsheet of 50 or less profiles to import, the process is terminating unexpectedly when just 37 profiles are loaded.

Technical Details:

The bulk profile import feature should be able to handle 50 profiles without an issue.  There is one bottleneck in the process when each profile is checked for existence in Aspect, which takes 2-3 seconds per profile.

Recommended Workaround:

Limit the spreadsheet to 30 profiles.

Resolution:

The process that checks Aspect for each profile has been refactored for greater efficiency, which will result in a drastic reduction in processing time.  This will eliminate the timeout issue that is being reported.  Importing 50 profiles will occur in under 30 seconds under the new refactor.  The change will be part of the next scheduled maintenance deployment (targeting for Sept. 2022).
